We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name and email address (via Clerk). Site content: text, images, media, template configurations, and site settings. Usage data: pages visited, browser type, device, IP address, and session duration. Payment information: card and billing details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor — Dezite is the seller and merchant of record for your purchase, and we never see or store your full card number on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process transactions, send billing-related communications, and send advance notice before a free trial converts to a paid charge or a subscription renews; send service-related notifications; respond to your support inquiries; monitor and analyze usage patterns; detect and address security threats; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information with the following sub-processors, only as needed to run the Service: Stripe (payment processing, card handling, and sales-tax/VAT calculation via Stripe Tax); Cloudflare (website hosting, CDN, and security); Google Cloud (application hosting and database); Clerk (user authentication and account management); Resend (transactional email delivery, including billing reminders); PostHog (product analytics); and, only for AI features you actively use, Google (Gemini) and Replicate (AI text and image generation). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to authenticate your editing session and maintain authentication state. We use analytics cookies (PostHog) to track anonymized product usage. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. Analytics cookies can be declined. We respect Do Not Track browser signals.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL via Cloudflare), secure authentication (via Clerk), access controls and monitoring, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active and your subscription is current. After cancellation, your data is retained for a reasonable period to allow for reactivation. All data is preserved during pause mode. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

European users have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict, or object to processing of their personal data. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your information). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@dezite.com. We will respond within 30 days.
