Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Dezite, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Dezite. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Dezite website builder platform, including all related services, features, and content (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Merchant of Record

Dezite is the seller and merchant of record for all orders. When you make a purchase, you are buying directly from Dezite, which grants you a license to use the Service. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated by Stripe Tax; invoices and receipts are issued in Dezite’s name. Stripe acts only as our payment processor and does not become the seller.

3. Description of Service

Dezite is a website builder platform that allows users to create, customize, and publish websites using professionally designed templates. The Service includes template-based website creation and editing, website hosting on Cloudflare’s global network, custom domain support, optional add-on services (Analytics, Blog, Testimonials, Newsletter, Community Management), and a content editing interface for managing your website.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; maintain the security of your account credentials; promptly update your information if it changes; and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

5. Right of Withdrawal

Building and previewing your site is free with no payment method required. Payment applies only when you publish. You may cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund, no reason required. After 14 days, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and unused time is not refunded.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service is offered on a per-site subscription basis with monthly and annual billing options; annual billing is offered at a lower effective rate than paying monthly. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Dezite is the merchant of record. Auto-renewal is off by default — you must explicitly opt in for a subscription to renew until you cancel. Before your trial converts to a paid charge, and before each renewal, we email you an advance reminder stating the amount and date, and you may cancel at any time from your dashboard billing settings. Optional add-on services can be toggled on or off at any time and are billed as separate subscription items, with changes prorated. Applicable taxes are calculated by Stripe Tax and shown at checkout.

7. Pause Mode

You may temporarily pause your website instead of canceling. During pause mode a maintenance fee of $1/month applies, your site goes offline and is not publicly accessible, all data is preserved, template editing and add-on services are suspended, the maximum pause duration is 30 days, and you may reactivate at any time to resume your previous plan.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard billing settings or by contacting support@dezite.com. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your site until the end of the current billing period. You may cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund; after that, no refund is issued for the remaining period. After the billing period ends, your site will no longer be publicly accessible, but your data will be retained for a reasonable period to allow reactivation.

9. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations; publish illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content; distribute malware or other harmful code; send spam; infringe on the intellectual property rights of others; or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dezite and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (via Stripe) in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
