Our policies on refunds, cancellations, and billing

Try Before You Pay

We believe you should never have to pay for something you haven't tried. That's why we offer a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. During your trial, you get full access to template editing, site preview, and all core features — giving you ample time to evaluate whether Dezite is right for you.

Because of this generous trial period, we do not offer refunds after you subscribe to a paid plan. By the time you pay, you've already had the opportunity to fully test the Service.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your dashboard billing settings (Settings > Billing)
  • Contacting us at support@dezite.com

What happens when you cancel:

  • Your site remains live and accessible until the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full editing access until the billing period ends
  • After the billing period expires, your site will no longer be publicly accessible
  • Your data will be retained for a reasonable period to allow for reactivation

2. Refund Policy

Template Subscriptions

No refunds are issued for template subscription cancellations. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Hosting

No refunds are issued for hosting cancellations. Your site remains live until the end of the current billing period.

Add-On Services

Add-on services (Analytics, Blog, Newsletter, Testimonials, Community Management, etc.) can be toggled off at any time. When you remove an add-on, Paddle automatically adjusts your billing. No separate refund is required — you simply stop being charged for the add-on.

Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions lock your pricing for 12 months at a 50% discount compared to monthly billing. No partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of an annual subscription.

3. Pause Mode — An Alternative to Cancellation

If you need a break but don't want to lose your site, consider Pause Mode instead of canceling:

  • Cost: $1/month (or $12/year on annual billing)
  • Duration: Up to 30 days
  • What's preserved: All your data, content, and custom domain
  • What's paused: Your site goes offline, editing is suspended, and all add-on services are paused
  • Reactivation: Instant — resume your previous plan at any time

Pause Mode lets you step away without losing your work.

4. Free Trial Terms

  • Duration: 14 days from site creation
  • No credit card required to start
  • Full access to template editing and site preview during the trial
  • Grace period: 3 days after trial expiration before access is restricted
  • One trial per site — trials cannot be extended or renewed
  • No charge if you cancel or don't subscribe during the trial period

5. Billing Errors and Exceptions

If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or unauthorized transactions), contact us at support@dezite.com and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

6. How Payments and Refunds Are Processed

All payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all invoicing, tax calculation, receipts, and payment processing on our behalf.

Refund processing, where applicable for billing errors, typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your payment method and financial institution.
